What is Ethosism?
Two lion cubs are captured by shrewd monkeys.
They train the lion cubs to include them into their circus act.
For payment, the monkeys receive the set currency in “bananas”
Over time, this arrangement continues and the baby cubs grow up into lions. They give birth to a set of twin cubs.
Meanwhile, circus tricks have evolved in sophistication and artistry, requiring skillful lions to run the circus.
Ever the miser, the shrewd monkeys determines it’s more beneficial for them to have skillful lions to run and maintain and the circus and have the parents pay for the schooling, shouldering the training costs.
The lions worked grueling hours to accumulate bananas to send their cubs to circus school.
Their value increased and made the circus business more profitable.
The monkeys became richer, and the lions enjoyed a modicum of improved living conditions, but are captive in their means of participation, limited by their educational attainment
However, their highly skilled offspring relocated, hunting for their “lion’s share”
We are the lions of the 21st century. We own our means of engagement, participation, or involvement in a public or private enterprise. Communism, socialism and capitalism have lost their significance in the 21st century. We need to rethink social and economic justice to reflect this paradigm shift.
